Conclusion
Looking over our research, it becomes clear that Sacagawea, as an individual, was not vital to the expedition. The things she did could have been done by any other Native from her tribe or another like it. Most people of her tribe were able to identify wildlife, communicate with other tribes, and using local landmarks to travel. While Sacagawea did some great things while on the expedition, it was not necessary to specifically bring her along.
